We're As Green As We Can Be
We Recycle
 Here at BOT we do everything we can to recycle and/or reuse everything involved in our business. We use ziplock bags for picking orders, to keep what someone ordered all together. The baggies go from Brian, when he picks, to Brian for packing and when they are emptied, they go back to Brian. Sometimes there are so many small parts in an order that we send the baggie on to you. We hope you recycle it, or maybe use it to take your sandwich to work, but that is up to you.
All the extra paper from the packing slips, the sticky peels from the bubble mailers, and the sticky backs of the customs forms are all recycled.
 The bubble mailers we get in the mail from our own orders, we recycle as well. They are either reused to send product out to you or they are put in the recycle bin with our weekly trash pick up and taken by the county recycling center. The boxes the bubble mailers come in are broken down and recycled. And sometimes we use those bubble mailers as packing when we send something to you, again, we hope you reuse it.
We also get new product orders in on a regular basis. The UPS man knows us by our first names. He stops in a pets the dogs, he has a cup of coffee and watches some television. Ok....he doesn't do that, but he does come by at least twice a week. The big boxes the figures come in are recycled, and as we take everything apart, and you know how much plastic and cardboard there is if you've ever bought a boxed figure, we sort out the plastic from the cardboard and we put it out in the garage. We usually fill up our recycle bin each week and have more left over for the next week. And so it goes. But each week, we shove and pound and stamp down as much recycling as we can get into that can.  What we can't fit, sits in the garage until next week.
We have no business space, excepting our living room, we don't pay anyone to help us. We package up, weigh and stamp everything ourselves. Occasionally, our friends come over and help, as you can see from the pictures, but for the most part, this is just a home operation. We pass those savings onto you. We have paper grocery bags all over, the products for packing come to us in paper bags, and once those are emptied, we use them to put the ziplock baggies in, or the trash or whatever needs recycling.
